Acceptance
By downloading or using ChillSeeker, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Age requirement
ChillSeeker is intended for users aged 17 and over. You confirm your age during onboarding. By using the app you represent that you are at least 17 years old.
Not a medical device
ChillSeeker is a general-wellness session-tracking app. It is not a medical device, it does not perform medical diagnosis or treatment, and the information and suggestions in the app are not medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical questions or before beginning any cold-water immersion, sauna, or breathwork practice.
Health & safety risks
Cold-water immersion and sauna use carry real physiological risks including, but not limited to, cardiac arrhythmia and arrest, hypothermia, hyperthermia, dehydration, fainting, drowning, slips and falls, burns, and aggravation of pre-existing medical conditions.
Never plunge alone. Always have a sober, attentive person present. Stop immediately if you feel unwell, dizzy, or experience chest pain, irregular heartbeat, or difficulty breathing — and seek medical attention.
Suggestions are not prescriptions
Any session suggestions surfaced by the app — temperatures, durations, frequencies, or breathwork patterns — are generated by simple rules-based heuristics over your stated experience and your own session history. They are general suggestions only and are not personalized medical advice. You are solely responsible for your own choices and your safety.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of ChillSeeker disclaims all liability for any injury, illness, death, property damage, or other loss arising from your use of cold-water immersion, sauna therapy, breathwork, meditation, or any information or suggestion presented by the app. You use the app at your sole risk.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except to the extent permitted by law.
- Use the app in a way that violates any applicable law.
- Misrepresent the data exported from the app as medical data or use it for medical decision-making.
Apple's Standard EULA
If you obtained the app from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies. Where it conflicts with these terms, Apple's EULA controls in respect of those provisions.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms over time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the app after a change indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
